GTA IV ZOMBIES GAMEPLAY - Testing GFX and MODS on new install

I've recently changed my hardware abit and had to re-install Windows Vista along with everything else. So here's my fresh install of GTA IV running Patch 7, modified hi-res texture replacements, and other mods. Most notable are "Left 4 Liberty Infection" for the zombie apocalypse and I'm testing the new beta RealityIV for visual enhancements. I link to most all mods I use in this blog post.

Doom 3 Zombie Modifications? Graphics Overhauls? Now it's Like New!

I dusted off my old 3 disc copy of Doom 3 after finding some mods to bring it's graphics and effects up to date! Also some cool single player maps for some instant zombie killing fun.

Graphics & Effects Enhancements:

Wulfen Texture Pack - "The purpose of this package is to make doom 3 much better texture quality. The textures have a noticeably higher resolution and much sharpness than original textures. Features: -over 500 High resolution textures -Most texture are 16 times bigger than original doom 3 texture. for example if the original texture had resolution 256 * 256, now has resolution 1024 * 1024 -About 85%-90% textures is completely retextured (modeling in 3d max, baking, drawing), 10-15% textures is rescaled and overlay other texture in higher resolution -large number textures has height maps, so looks rally wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping"

Installs to your \doom 3\base\ folder.

Sikkmod v1.2 - "Sikkmod is a general enhancement mod for id Software's 2004 FPS: Doom 3 and its expansion pack: Resurrection of Evil. Its main purposes are to update visuals of Doom 3 to a more modern level and to allow the user to customize various aspects of the game to suit their preferred styles all while maintaining the core mechanics and aesthetics originally put in by id Software. The mod also includes a number of fixes to and better organization of stock files in order to create a clean and more stable base for future mods"

Installs to your \doom 3\base\ folder. This mod comes with a "mysettings.cfg" file and I suggest you copy it's contents (opens with notepad) and paste them at the end of your autoexec.cfg file
